Problems Of Security Cable Time Manufacturing
In the early days, there were only a few models for nylon cable ties.
In 2010, the YOUME team noticed that the traditional nylon cable tie has no tag, which is less convenient. Some customers want to have their company name, company logo, tracking numbers, or even barcode printed on the cable ties for monitoring purposes. However, the PA66 material is very soft and less easy to be shaped. Meanwhile, add a printable area on each nylon cable tie will increase the cost as PA66 material is more expensive. Since then, YOUME works with the molding factory and material supplier to find our customers’ best solution.
Plastic Security Cable Ties Solution
Looking back, YOUME created its first mold for the markable security tags at the end of 2010. We add a tag on top of this new red off white tag. But choosing the suitable material for production is always uneasy:The material should be well-shaped. The material should have a solid tensile strength to maintain its security.
We need economic material to lower the cost.
We begin to test PP material, PA66 material, and PE material on our new mold. But the PA66 material and PE material are both very soft, which is Not suitable for big tag seal injection molding. However, PP material is well-shaped on our new mold. However, its break strength is rather weak.
As we keep searching, the YOUME team finally work out the “PP+PE+laser powder” material for production. Surprisingly, the plastic security cable ties came out well-shaped and better break strength to meet the customer’s requirements. By adding the laser powder, customer can make their imprint through a laser machine. After several rounds of testing, the YOUME team finally find our perfect formula for plastic seal tag production.
Through the molding injection machine, all products came out with the same shape and same quality. To help us keep track of the red off white tag quality, we also have our tensile strength machine to test the zip tie’s pull-force. You can trust us to deliver a satisfactory product to keep your properties secure.

With work in full swing, we made certain adjustments in 2014 to create YOUME to serve our foreign markets better.
YOUME is focusing on providing excellent plastic zip tie for you. So far, we have released over 100 products. Our product range varies from the pull-tight plastic seal tag, truck seals, tamper-evident seal, padlock seals, red off white tag. We will continuously develop more products to satisfy our customer’s needs and increase global sales in the future.
